1. Lo nuestro- being our thing, being what’s ours, being what we (and only we) understand, not as in private property, but as in belonging, belonging sideways, finding our way into belonging and making community, being in existing communities, or both. 2. Lo nuestro- being a monthly poetry series with a lineup of poets of color. 3. Lo nuestro- being organized by Raquel Salas Rivera, and co-hosted by a different poet each month. 4. Lo nuestro- being regular but not fixed, having a rhythm but not uniform, changing time, not just within time but making time new.
